Gem had been playing quietly on her own, in her own little dream world where she was off on some brave adventure. This was often how she spent her time and she as quite content with keeping herself amused, suddenly two small paws wrapped around her from behind and tried to lift her up off the ground. None too sucessfully
Gem Eeeeped in surprise And tried to squirm round to see who had disturbed her playtime. It was a white bobtailed cat girl. Gem blinked, startled as The girl (who wasnt that much bigger than Gem) Haphazardly pulled Gem into a tight hug.
"Squueeee you're so adorable!!" The girl exclaimed.
Gem was usually petrifeid of strangers and this girl certainly was strange, but she was also a very good hugger and very friendly and Gem couldn't help but giggle. Gem liked hugs, a lot. She liked the kitty girl already.

I remember as a 3 year old trying to carry my one year old sister, its not easy. Still, I didnt drop her. I also love the idea of being picked up when you dont expect it, theres something that makes me feel very very small and vulnerable, like you have no choice, someone else has decided you're about to be taken somewhere or do something and you just have to go with it.
