Noel the Bizarro Charmeleon
I was digging about my archives to find more inspiration for VG Xover stuff, and I found this little character I created in 2000.
About that time, I was OBSESSED with Pokemon as well as superhero comics, which lead to the mixing of both worlds in this character, a Bizarro Charmeleon. Though looking Ice-type, I devised that this creature is actually Psychic (why, b/c I can :P). He's been one of my favs, appearing in a number of images before switching focus to original creations.
Other Bizarro Pokemon I designed at the time were Magnemite, Dratini, and Koffing, but Noel was the only one that look cool ( and not freaked out >.> ) of the group.
Being 7 years old, I figure he's due for a redesign (think so?). I made him a bit more brutish by adding a defined brow and a severe underbit. Also, the weight of the under-eye was thickened to add a "loner" feeling.
