This shows the process I went through to make the Fuma sculpture http://www.furaffinity.net/view/7639167 up until the last image you see (partially colored-yay!). The fourth image features my sis so you can see how tall Fuma is. My sis is 5'4", same as me. D8
More progress pictures here, but it goes backwards: http://s1222.photobucket.com/albums.....re%20progress/
May or may not scrap this when the sculpture is finally finished.

The short reply for this would be no I haven't made these on request, I did this for my advanced sculpture class, first time attempting something like this. If I would do commissions for this it would probably be kinda expensive, the materials cost between 100-200 dollars easily (/cries - did not think about that when starting) and the time to complete it was looooooooong (12 hours + just to put the fur on). And I was lucky a professor had a welder, otherwise the skeleton would cease to exist.
Also...I'd have no idea how to ship this thing. :/
As much as it would be fun to, I don't know how possible this would be for me.
I'm glad you like it though. <3

Sweet. :D Looks good though, did you measure out the armature or did you just wing it :D.
Also brazing sounds tough, I didn't really get a chance to try it in metal arts. I was good at blacksmithing though, nothing like hammering steel on an anvil next to a blistering hot forge. XD At least it was warm as it was dead of winter outside >.>

Pretty much just winged it. Drew a "life-sized" picture on a couple big pieces of paper and cut pieces of metal for the skeletal structure.
Brazing is tough, or the type of brazing I did was. Someone told me there is a newer method, but for a summary I had to use the right amount of gas, use sparks to light the torch and heat the metal along with an agent to help form a joint. But after adding on a couple more pieces the joints couldn't take the weight of the whole thing and fell apart.
Before this I had no experience in metal arts besides drilling a hole through it or sticking two things together with super glue. :U
No experience in blacksmithing whatsoever.
