Meet Angela Rudell. She is a phinora, a species of tiger-like people native to a distant island chain largely untouched by the modern world. But Angie herself grew up in the city, unaware of her heritage (and family) until recently, at around the age of 20. (That's my synopsis, folks. For more details, read the comic!)
I wanted to draw an Angie that relates to this latest development. As an attempt to render a "returning to your roots" theme, I've dressed her in tribal warrior attire. Based on the artist's own designs, of course. (I'm so deficient in creativity!)
The savanna landscape may or may not bear resemblence to the environs of the Chuchunaa Islands, which have yet to be revealed in visual splendor by Angieness herself.
