This was first written in the school year of 2000/2001 when I was 14 (26 now)
The old version is just called Saiyan Princess and is still floating around on the net (good thing, otherwise I would have lost it with my old computer) it was posted online under the name DBZgirl (which is what the boys called me at school, I was the only girl in our lunch time fan group)
This is fully reworked, I fixed the plot and generally improved everything, the old version makes me cringe (oh the spelling and grammar errors, and wonky plot near the end)
I also changed my OC's name from Tira to Kinomi, which is Japanese for fruit (a play on Vegeta being Vegetable)
For an OC I feel Kinomi is a well rounded character, not a "Marry Sue" and I managed to fit her existence into the world of Dragonball Z rather seamlessly, especially considering the OVA created in 2008 gave Vegeta a brother named Tarble.

Aww! Good ending! I'm glad you revised your old story, it's a lot easier to follow now, and the name Kinomi fits better imo...just sounds more like a sayian name to me lol. The only real downside to this story was the ending...when it ended... ><

I had a sequel back in the day... but it is lost, I never put it online because I thought it was lame.
It was about her trying to be Super Saiyan training in a Capsule ship like Vegeta did but she trained in the middle of nowhere, the thing blew up, she was found by a guy who lived out there and was a doctor, they fell in love, had a daughter, then a villain shows up that is somehow part Saiyan, it is suggested that his father must be either Raditz or Napa which means his existence came about in less than savory means considering the nature of those two (which both did run around unchecked in the show) and I have no memory of the story beyond that...
And I have no plans to try and bring it to life 3:

I think I cleaned it up rather well, and I really like some of the stuff I added, stating why King Cold took her on as part of his own ambition made a lot more sense, and I like how I gave a bit more meaning behind how Vegeta ended up with bulma.
