Dis this piece rather quickly this afternoon to help warm up and just get the ideas flowing a little. I'm begging to really enjoy doing these sort of speed painting pieces quite a lot because you son't have to spend hours refining details and making everything perfect, you gave just paint and focus on the broad structure and light.
Anyway, I hope you all enjoy it, and any comments you guys have or criticisms are really appreciated.

Thanks,glad you like it.
In regards to the wings you have to keep in mind that they arn't fully unfolded in this image, and your looking at them from a somewhat foreshortened perspective in the side so they are larger then they actually appear. That said, I don't think that even if they were twice as large they would be able to really carry him realistically. A creature that large is simply too heavy to be able to fly, and if it did have wings large enough to carry it they would weigh it down too much while on the ground.
You're completely right about his front ankles. THey should be a little lower and less knobbly. His actual foot structure is all wrong as well. I'm going to have to back in and try to fix those now that my attention's been drawn to it. Thanks for the helpful criticism, not enough people here are willing to point thing out like that.
