Flustered by their joint advancement Lisa all but gracefully took the main stairs two at a time. At the top she found herself corned Laji on her right, Jah on her left. Flushing with embarrassment Lisa tried not to make a scene. She berated herself for attending this ball in her mother's place. Slipping her gloves from her upper arms Jah and Laji took turns persuading Lisa. Licking the soft flesh of her arms they secreted a small amount of venom, numbing her limbs slowly.
"Stay with us."
"Don't worry about your family."
Stuttering Lisa felt her limbs growing heavier.
"We've already taken care of it."
"You'll never have to dance for him ever again."
