Another new character! He is a mix between a Common long-tonged bat (http://www.washingtonparkbonaire.org/images-bats/glossophaga1.jpg) and a Clearwing Hummingbird moth (http://icons-ak.wunderground.com/data/wximagenew/n/novembergale/214.jpg)
I am not quite satisfied with his colors... especially the fluff ball at the end of his tail. I'll be playing with that a lot. (or more so, the way I drew it I don't like). Same with the greens. HE'S A WORK IN PROGRESS FOR THE COLORS.
Anyways... yeah, he doesn't have a name yet, but I'll figure one out hopefully soon. >:C He's the size of a largeish moth, so he's very tiny... and he is voreable!
He's my happy/excited side of myself, and gives a lot of puppy-love~ Nothing sexual at all. His tongue, which I'll show in a ref, is like the moth's, so it's REALLY LONG.
The top wings are able to fold in a way like a bat's can, and the bottom wings are stiff. The top wings are meant for gliding, while the bottom ones move like a moth's, to be able to give him speed. He also has really long toes to be able to grab onto tree branches and other things. He LOVES eating flying insects, and drinking from nectar spouts that humans put out, as well as large flowers. His top wings ARE able to "flap", but that's mainly when he's flying in place to get nectar.
He DOES have a penis, BUT YOU'LL NEVER SEE IT. It's in the slit in which looks like a vagina, so it may confuse people. lol. Ya can see his tiny testes, though. XD; That's the indicator that he's male. >:C

Not skin, skin no. Skin has elasticity. But insect wings don't collapse under folding if done right. As long as the veins remain undamaged (I think). I think insects fold their wings along pre-folded creases and then the bloodflow makes the wing rigid. Anyway I think that is how I remember how it works, but certainly insect wings are more flexible then you might think. I am not an entomologist and I think only a chat between one and Shorty will sort this out.

AGH but I love the combination! You have such a knack to turn two separate creatures into something credible : D
I'm really digging the fur tufts stringing off from his back legs, as well as his wing design. That's just splendidly creative!
