An anthro version (Korean Tiger) of a north korean SOF (special operation force), retreating after a succesfull raid against a group of barracks of ROKA (Republic of Korea Armed Forces).
North Korean special forces are part of the KPA's Special Battalions for Reconnaissance Agency, deeply involved now as in the past in secret action against the South Korean forces and the American forces in Korea.
Such force is belived to be one of the largest and most trained in the world (200.000 active soldiers !!) usually operating in single teams. The elements are trained hard to survive in inhuman situations, strongly faithful to the DPRK cause and able to adapt to different critical situations despite being outnumbered or injured
They are a fighting force capable to unhinge and thrown in chaos the South Korean and American forces in few houres after the beginning of a possible Second Korean War.

Have you heard of the Pueblo Incident with Korea?
The situation seems to have been started for the right reasons, but now they practically worship KJU. Its all just creepy how they refuse to let any UN human rights groups investigate their prisons (even Nazis let in the Red Cross), and refuse help after 10% (estimates, we arent allowed anywhere but Pyongyang) of DPRK dies from 'a little famine.'

Hopes you don't want argue again <.< Pueblo was on spying mission ...
The phenomenon of the exaltation it's related with their ideology that search the paternal figure of the leader as a protector of the society.
His power it's of course not absolutist, and it's even weak then his father because it's mainly shared with Choe Yong-rim and Kim Yong-nam.
I don't think to have seen an international reportage about the Nazi death camp, apart from the "exagerated" charges by the Ussr at the time...
It was AFTER the WWII that the western press discovered the thing, just to give credits for the Israelian state... (during 1945-1946 it was not good to do, because too many SS, Wermacth, and industrial that took part at the Extermination were important pieces for the Western intelligence and military machine).
All that you can read about the supposed North Korean prisons are inflated and emphasized by the supposed "defectors" that every week the SouthKorean press shows with no or poor evidence that he had not invented(Chosen Ilbo... well know of being supportive of the previous autocratic governement , described as repressive by the same western press).
The NK Famine (that wasn't little) it's ended years ago, and it's a direct consequences of the restrictions and trade sanctions imposed by USA and its allied. The same sanctions imposed to Cuba and Iran... that differently from NK has no problems of cold weathers and floods that mixed with the sanctions caused the famine.

Aw, arguments are fun! I like to learn a different perspective, and I dont think anything less of you for it. And I was not trying to suggest USSR exaggerated the reports of the Nazi camps. I know they must have been hell.... And when you talk about the western war machine, I wont deny my country didnt do bad things, but the Soviets were first allied with the Nazis, until they were invaded. The Koreans, in my opinion, just spend too much on their military.
They were never allied ^^ That's a very simple pro-american way of think that's never show neither in europe anymore (at least... in indipendent schools v.v) Soviet Union supported the Spanish Repubblic with weapons, pilots, men and advisors... the Germans did the same for the Fascists with Soviet and Germans engaging each others in air and (few) tanks battles (that's while Usa and GB remained to watch... and traded with fascists) Then again Soviet and Germans signed a non-aggression treaty, ... meaning "i don't attack you until you don't attack me" because they were both busy expanding their influence (and because Soviet army needed time after the hard fight during the Winter War against Finland... that at the time was supported by both Nazi and Western powers) remember also that Soviet army was deeply involved into open warfere against the Japan in Far-east, defeating them in Khalikin-gol in summer 1939.
Speaking about military.... Koreas are still officially at war each others, so that's no surprise their relationship it's more military then other (also, the
SK is the twelfth most expensive country for military budget in the world)

The Finnish actually used the Germans to fight Soviet invasion, and then went to war to force the Germans out. It was a dickish move, yes, but I dont think they ever sent troops out of their own border (could be wrong, tho).
And I think - KNOW it was a horrible mistake for America not to crush the Nazis sooner. I think we should intervene whenever racial or religious genocide is involved. As far as political killings, America could just refuse to trade with that country. We shouldnt interfere there.

Other Axis nations (as Finland) were not involved in fight against western powers. ... Finland was the first on the list to act so, thanks their lack of personnel and equipment that was barely enough for their front that were contiguous to SU.
Speaking about military actions, Finnish forces penetrated more times in Soviet land, They occupied the Soviet Karelia (with half of the population segregated in concentration camp and thousends dead), they also took part in the failed attack against Murmansk and the siege of Leningrad.
All to accomplish their nationalist and racist plan of the "Greater Finland", with great satisfaction of the local original population (not barely "defend" themselves). Their total betrayal of the Nazi was probably the most fun event of the WWII...

You should read the book by the Pueblo captain. It isn't US propaganda - the US Navy got very pissed off that he wrote it! He admits that it was a ship to monitor Korean radar, but still denies that he went into their waters. In the DPRK "press conferences" all the crew held up their middle fingers when they said "We have gotten wonderful treatment we dont deserve," because the guards thought it was a good luck sign.
"The sailors were pretty lucky of not being shot from first to last."
The entire story shows than neither side was right. That's why Butcher wrote it. All the communist countries which could afford to send "spy" ships could, but they stayed in international waters. The US sent Pueblo off the coast, but the Peoples' Navy found them. They shot the hull, so Pueblo had to stop at Wanson, where they were taken. Did you read a NK official transcript of, "Captn. Butcher's Final Final Confession" for yourself?

That's the US version of the facts... NK claim the opposite, they were closer then the coast.
You can say what you want, but US proved not to be ever in honesty about this things..
Never read about the Operation Northwoods?
Or what happened in Gulf of Tonkin?
If you're ready to take as truth the words of a captain of a spy-ship well, your choice..

I said he admitted to spying, and that he aknowledges in his book that everything he did was wrong. He even said the Koreans tried to help him. They gave him cookies and warm milk to get him to eat! But he was very sick (& took shrapnel in his rectum from the sub-chasers...)
Yes, I know how the US wanted to 'build its empire,' and I hate that about America. We are guilty, too. We're ALL the bad guys. Butcher didnt want to even be on Pueblo, but if said no it would be treason.

There was a Russian writer (I forget his name) I remember reading about ideology from.
He said that ideology is what drives people to do evil and think it is 'for a better future.' For the Nazis, it was race. For communists, it is equality. For fascists, power. For capitalists, greed.
But, even if you think your ideology is better, you still overlook the fact that the people you kill for thinking wrongly are still people. The only way to stop it is to have everyone stop at once, which just doesnt happen.
