So, I'm gonna post this SUPER OLD art. :}
Just cause I love the corner picture so much (which belongs to the creators of RPG Maker 2003, except for where I edited out the prayer beads because I didn't like them).

On the right, we have bases, the size area allowed for the sprite, and color pallet.
And on the left we have the in-battle sprites. From left-down to right-down:
Attacking (normal)
Attacking (was testing the regular stand stance and the one that looks like it's bowing. They ended up looking the same)
Standing/Waiting for turn
Item Use/Magic
Defending
Take Damage
Dead
Bad Status
Victory (jumping....)
Run Left
Run Right

And in the middle are the field sprites. Ended up liking the right-most one better.
