I can only think that such a transformation would be benificial. Highened senses, sharper claws and teeth, more physical strength and flexibility. All that AND you can lick your own balls.

This reminds me of the Greek legend of Circe. She changed her enemies, or those who offended her, into various animals through the use of magical potions (this was quoted from Wikipedia, by the way).

Let's be honest here. Many of talk about how we'd love to be transformed into this or that non-human species, but if it really truly happpened to us, we would be totally freaked, at least initially. Anyways, the big tiger seems more disoriented than sad. He'll be OK in a minute or two.

Very well done. Good details in the sweat and the torn clothing. I like the paws and the color, too. I've read the other comments, and I have nothing else to say that hasn't already been said. I also learned about the Circe thing, as opposed to being just someone to comfort him during this. But she gives another dimension to what's going on. The transformation itself is sensational. Marston made some comments that I came to agree with, as did Fanimal. This earns every "r" in the elongation of "great" you made in the description.
