This was a Megaplex commission that I delivered at FWA. I hadn't drawn a donkey in awhile and was happy at how this came out. The implied mood was very melancholy but I also wanted to add some elements of hope, so even though he looks sad there's some warm colors to give it some ambiguity to the whole thing.

There's a lot of color play going on here, which just goes to show how much of an emotional impact you can convey with light and colored shadows.

So, here's Jackpot walking down a path, perhaps towards or away from something.
