Welp, this was bound to happen eventually XD
Ian Flynn likes to compare the current Sonic comic to Star Wars Episode V when the heroes were at their most desperate moment and most defeated...so that got me to thinking of comparing Mecha-Sally to Darth Vader.
Obviously there are many differences between the two, but think about it: They both started out as good guys (although Anikin turned into a whiny jerk near the end), they both got brainwashed by the main villain and trapped in a head to toe suite of armor they must always wear (Sally actually IS metal), and they both mindlessly do whatever orders their master gives them without blinking an eye even if it means injuring or killing their loved ones.
Then let's not forget the fact that both Robotnik and Palpatine got their power through playing a good guy and eventually betraying those that put their faith in them XD
One could argue that that would be the case for all roboticized people in the past...but Flynn compares just this part of the comic to the Star Wars movie, and roboticization is still impossible with the machine destroyed (I think?) so Sally can still be considered a special case here.
Anywho, hope you guys like it, feel free to comment ^^

Darth Vader choosen to follow Darth Sidious order and betray the Jedi, but Sally never had the choice to become a robot in the first place, she thought that she was scarficing her life to save millions, and while the two follow their master mindless Vader could have easily betray Sidious at any time, but Sally can't because she is a slave to Robotnick controls. So I wouldn't technically say they are alot alike, but you do raise an interesting point about good guys turning bad to serve their master.
