Mika's a gentle young girl with a big heart and a sharp mind. She works for Tsukiko at the bar taking care of the back office duties. She's got a huge crush on Maru, but is too shy to say anything about it, so she frequently experiences "computer problems" as an excuse to see him. (The truth is she causes all of the problems herself using viruses she herself creates.)

Her typical outfit is a comfy tank and jeans with fuzzy arm warmers. While she's at work, she wears a fancy kimono with a delicate cherry-blossom pattern embroidered in silvery-pink.

Bio: The daughter of a mildly famous stage actress, Mika grew up traveling the world with her mother and a pair of devoted tutors. Her father was an actor friend of her mother's who simply wanted to help his friend have a child. She didn't get to know him well before an accident took his life, but as she grew older, her mother showed her the vids of his performances so she could at least know her father as an actor.

Mika is naturally intelligent and excels at anything she sets her mind to. After playing with the idea of following her parents' footsteps for a while, she realized that her natural shyness would make it a poor choice of career. Around the time she turned 20, she decided she didn't want to travel anymore and chose to stay in the last city on her mother's current tour. Her mother stayed with her until she settled in. Early in their stay they'd found Tsukiko's restaurant and went there often to enjoy the food of their homeland, so when Tsukiko put up a sign looking for office/accounting help, Mika jumped at the chance.

She developed a huge crush on Maru after meeting him just a few times, though she was too shy (and he was too oblivious) to do anything about it. With Tsukiko's help, she and Maru finally got together and she couldn't be happier.
