I was teasing my roomate about his hair and how he should show me how it goes all afro poofy and he frizzed it out and let it dangle over his eyes. It formed this wonderfully mysterious veil over his eyes, just dark enough to hide any real detail or solid acknowledgement of what was underneath and those ringlets around his head were just kickass.

You stared into this darkness where you knew his eyes should be and you honestly couldn't really see them, couldn't make then out, couldn't tell where his nose began, where his cheeks ended, etc but you could see variation in light and slight reflections where tendrils of light snuck through his mane. Mostly, you could see what your mind projected to you, what it knew -should- have been there, and then some.

I just told him to stay still, grabbed my sketchbook and whiped this out. It was fun. I miss stuff like this. I'm doing it more now, again.
