"The cheer leader"
The loud whistle signaled the end of the first half of the game, the visiting team would soon find out why the Radiant Hill High school football team had changed their name from the boring and cliched "Wildcats" to the more baffling name "Chipmunks". They had been warned by others, but soon they would realize that hearing about it wasn’t the same as experiencing it live.
As an upbeat song started booming through the school’s sound system and the local students began cheering, a seemingly distant figure emerged from the horizon (all the way over to where the schools old gymnasium laid) and waltzed into the field. The visiting team (and their supporters) looked at the figure in shock, as it got bigger and bigger and bigger, it was like no mascot they had ever seen.
A gigantic figure no shorter than 15ft pranced towards the middle of the field wearing a skimpy white and blue cheerleader outfit and totting blue pompoms; the imposing mascot was built like a titan, sporting huge muscular arms that seemed like they could hold the entire world, powerful legs as wide as oak trees and rock solid abs like sculpted by Michelangelo himself, it was a breath taking physique. A lot of people, however, didn’t focus on those astonishing muscles, but in other details like the mascot’s more feminine attributes (such as her equally enormous breasts and long fluffy hair)or the fact that this was the most realistic ‘chipmunk girl’ costume in existence, because it had to be a costume, right? With that cartoonish pink colored fur, there was no way that could be real.
Winnie, as this mascot was known as, began doing an energetic routine, graceful and acrobatic, it was a wonder how such a bulky and heavy body could move with such agility and raise through the air effortlessly, those who knew her routine exploded in cheers, while the visitors stood motionless as if the mere presence of such powerful being overwhelmed them.
As Winnie did one final split, a group of 8 regular sized, high school cheerleaders quickly jumped on her and built a human pyramid across her shoulders, then Winnie sprang up raising the pyramid towards the sky as the music ended and a few well placed fireworks went off.
After this astounding show, the titanic mascot went back to her hiding place waving at the crownd and blowing kisses, leaving the visiting team wondering if that had really happened. The rest of the game would not a surprise, it would the same result as every time Winnie made an appearance, the chipmunks would win the game with no effort as the opposing team would be unable to focus for the rest of the game. And after the game the losing team would clear its mind, dismiss the show as “a very well made mascot costume” and think it wasn’t that impressive and it wouldn’t get them next time, yet, every time Winnie showed up, her presence overwhelmed those who didn’t know better.
One Radiant Hill student didn’t feel like her peers regarding Winnie, this pudgy, unkept girl named Dess never missed the local games despite hating football, she went there just so she could see Winnie, she was kind of an outcast (or at least she felt like so since she had strange thought in her mind and very low self steem) but she had been the one person who found Winnie, not only this made her noticed by her class mates, but also had filled her with joy and she would never pass a chance to see the titanic lady.
Dess secretly had fantasies that made her feel really guilty due to how weird and out of the norm they were, in these fantasies she saw herself as a powerful woman with a body not unlike Winnie’s, the power fantasies made her heart race and body feel a pleasant rush of excitement; she would find herself day dreaming about it almost at all times and sighing loudly as she was brought back down to earth.
When Dess found Winnie laying in the ground during that fateful field trip she overcame the weirdness of her being a weird animal woman just for the excitement and joy of being near that ‘goddess of a woman’ as she described her. Dess found out that Winnie had no idea how she got there, or how she had gained such body, or anything at all, she seemed to have absolutely no memory of anything other than her name being Winnie.
Despite her body, Winnie behaved like a normal school girl and just tried to engage in such kind of life and as, weird as it sounded, it was like the whole universe was allowing her to function in it: The school tried to alert the authorities, scientific communities and about anybody that would have interest in this discovery, but everybody dismissed the idea as a prank and nobody ever came to see Winnie, is like the world willingly was ignoring her, even many people who saw her live just dismissed her as some really elaborate trick. Soon they just decided to roll with it and outfitted the old gymnasium to be Winnie’s home, equipped with custom made furniture for her to live and attend classes (teachers would visit her to give her private classes) and even all the equipment she needed to keep her prodigious body in shape, which she only used because she was convinced that ‘those muscles’ shouldn’t go to waste. If the universe didn’t mind this anomaly, they wouldn’t mind either.
Dess also visited her regularly, she never told her about what she really felt inside regarding her, but she was a genuine friend for the misplaced chipmunk lady. Dess thought a lot about her, not just fantasies, but also like a puzzle she had to figure out and she felt she was close to a breakthrough.
“Winnie, you’re an obsession, I know I’m not well up in my head and I understand there is people like me, you’re not like in my fantasies, but you’re SOMEONE’S fantasy, I don’t know what brought you here, but you’re the beginning of something really amazing, I can feel it” the chubby loner thought to herself smiling as she saw the muscular chipmunk leave the field.
