(P)ost (C)on (D)epression - to get technical, the hyper-stimulation of a con environment causes a emotional/psychological high. So afterwards, one goes through a form of withdrawal. if you graphed the progression it would look like a sine wave (high -> low -> back to normal). I guess being a paramedic I always have to over-analyze everything...
