My pirate earth pony Missing Mist.
His goal was to set out on his own, gather up a crew of his own, then track down his mother once he's a successful pirate and make her proud.

His mother is Stormbound Tides, also known as Madame Tides or the Pirate Empress.

However, after his newly bought boat got sunk by  Cajes character Kelpbeard, he was persuaded to instead join that crew, as a deckcolt.

And yes, he is a blank flank. He knows he is passionate about becoming a pirate, so he is a bit puzzled, wondering why he hasn't got a cutie mark yet.
