Haha, oh man, Van Doodle could paper a bulletin board. He's kinda the George Steinbrenner of the FHL.
"About time things got back to normal!" He was quoted in the post-game press conference. "Nothin' against the Bandicoots, they got a cute lil team. Besides, who cares if its a little emberassing. When they play against the best, it'll just improve their own game for next year."

**After Van Doodle and a couple of the Wanderers players had a chance to speak at the press conference, a couple members of the Bandicoots organization had their chance to address the media. While the general theme was that they were just that close from going back to Bridgeport up 2-0 in the series, the comment of the night had to be from center Vesa Turunen:**
RR: Steve Langfield, Furry Sporting News. . .Vesa, what do you think of Wanderers' owner and coach Tuck van Doodle's comments earlier?
VT: What did he say?
SL: He said that the win put things 'back to normal' and described the Bandicoots as a 'cute lil' team'--
VT: *laughs* I'm not surprised in the least that Tuckie would say something like that. He may think that he can ride the regular season record they had into the playoffs, but everything's reset back to zero. We know we can beat them. And as far as cute goes, I think it's cute that the little poodle thinks he can try and talk about us like we're some minor-league team after we beat them in Game 1. Our fans will be ready on Wednesday night, and I'm sure they'll have some...smack to give back to them.
