For the death of  Loki_Blackfang and  Ponybird (“Vex”), yes this is strong. Honestly, I do not know them nor their spouses,  kaza and  sillyserpentine, but being here on FA means a lot after about two months as a member. I become part of family-it is SO different from Facebook.
After asking Kaza for permission to use his character in my drawing, he did tell me that when the fatal automobile accident happened, he was with Serpy in the same room when he got the news. I did expect them to hug that day, so it inspired me do this melancholic art of them about to hug. It does show us that friends are here to comfort one another; just like family and love, friendships never end-like the old aphorism, “A friend in need is a friend indeed.”
I did add a rose so show love and compassion, a few clovers for luck (as this double death occurred a few days before St. Patrick’s Day), and a poignant quote that I found online.

This one took three or four days (inclding an overnight session) to do. On a rating of 6, I put this as a 5.1. I may need to practice on the arms and hands a bit, and I would have put a bit more improvement on Kaza’s muzzle. If you do see Serpy’s ref sheet, I would have made the hair better, her body a bit more proportional, and lastly, I forgot to add the white "V" on her chest. Of course, I do have to see the pessimistic side to my art to do better. This is a B/W drawing from #2 pencil and many shades of gray and black using RoseArt colored pencils to make this somber scene strike tears to some.

Thank you for looking at my first-ever art (without guideline paper) posted here while being a member on FurAffinity. I did not want to do this as my first, but I wanted to put my feelings into such tragedy.
