Ratiries, the most beautiful pirate diva in the world, eventually had to trade in her Jolly Roger for the flag of a major carrier. She's wearing a standard female captain's outfit. She had a choice of pants or the skirt. I think she misses her old uniform, but the airlines require something that allows full freedom of movement.
I really love this character and I'm mega-uber proud of this drawing. Enjoy everyone!

First of all I must grovel in shame for not commenting sooner even if it hasn't been my fault (has been internetless for a while) because DAMN this is made of so much AWESOME!
Not only was this kickass fanart in a great style, it was also very creative and inspiring o.o Because I have actually had these little "what if Ratiries wen't from badgirl to goodgirl" thoughts, even if that is more than unlikely to happen... it's very interesting to see something like that coming to vision.
...and damn, you SHOULD be proud of this drawing! ;] because not only did you draw her awesomely, you came up with a most classy, sexy and interesting uniform! Feels a little odd to see her in blue as she usually *always* dress in red, but still very interesting :D

Thanks for the wonderful comments. :) Heh, I never gave a thought to the blue vs. red issue. But I guess it would add to her feeling awkward in her new duds.
Now the real question is, is she open with her first officers about her past 'career' in the 'air freight' business? Heh heh, sounds like good comic material. ;)

She would probably not be allowed to make her past career that obvious, at least not if she is hired by someone or something ;] to not encourage anyone to go down the wrong path and... whatnot, ya'know ;x However, I bet they'd probably figure it out themselves sooner or later. Once a pirate, always a pirate.
I actually used to have a lot of work in my VCL gallery dating back to around 2000-2001 but I took it all down months ago since I thought my old works was too horrible for people to look at xD So right now... no D: my FA is all of the arts I have online at the moment.
