Sometimes a piece of imagery will come out of nowhere, hit you hard, and insist "DRAW ME" until you have no choice but to finish it. This was one of those pieces. Generic baby fox whose faithful teddybear companion has grown into a massive protector, to keep him safe even in his dreams. I also tried something a little different with this piece. It's effectively lineless. One I'd sketched it out, I plunked it on my lightbox and painted right over the top of it on a fresh sheet without inking. I think it took me three times as long as my pieces normally do... x_x But I'm pretty pleased with the result.
For the record? Fur texture is a pain in the ass to paint. x_x The original of this is available for sale if anyone's interested.
