I just watched the english dubbed version of Arashi No Yoru Ni last night and i absolutely fell in love with it <3
I drew in reference to the scene on the mountain during the blizzard when Gabu drags Mei into the cave so he doesn't freeze to death. That was a really sad scene :c and this picture is sad too :c

At that moment and thereafter you totally get the label "friend" they use for each other was ratherly an euphemist for they being somewhat unable or unneasy to openly state upon each other the real relationship they suddenly get into during the second half of the film since their escape through the river fall. (And also perhaps the censoring as being a primarly child-oriented audience kept the friendship cover title, eventhough some open-minded adullt audience might understood their true relationship at full) Lovely story and so original and bold to use those themes in such a good way to change slightly the worldvide society view about those issues!
