I like it so far. I'm loving the Mayan, slightly clockwork design here and I think it would look great as a tattoo once finished. My only concern is that it seems a little wide and I can't picture it on a leg working towards the foot. Have you thought of having the tail spiral round your ankle once and trailing onto your foot?

That's the plan, yeah - it's going to start on the back of my shin, on my calf and then finish with the tail on my foot. Totally right about it being too wide - I decided to draw it and sort of ignore the proportions since I figured a tattoo artist would probably be the best person to ask about that sort of stuff.
