Well, it's been over a year since this thing was completed, but I only just got ahold of some of the photos of it. This was my piece for Blacksburg's Gobble de Art project and my first (somewhat lame) attempt at airbrushing. The photos don't really do it justice, since they don't pick up the orange and maroon nebulae very well. Under the right lighting, this piece practically glows. I think the tail turned out the niftyest of the whole thing. *sigh* I do wish they'd spelled my name right on the plaque and website, but at least the got it right on the check they sent me. Well, dunno if it's still up in public or if they put it in storage again, but it WAS up at the firestation on Price's Fork out near Foxridge. You're welcome to give it a shot. Ron took some photos for me, but never got around to uploading them where I could access them.
