(Resubmitting because it hasn't shown up on my front page, I originally submitted this 9-1-07, 2pmish.)
bah, I broke my 'promise'. A month off internet and I drew NOTHING.
This I started last week, when the cable blacked out after it was -just- set up. xD
Well, it's art, and it doesn't -have- to make sense.
Drawn in OpenCanvas4.06E Plus with the help of my wacom tabby.
4 hours from start to finish? I doodle&brainstorm on the same canvas that I end up making a 'finished piece' on. I hate sitting down with an near finished idea in my head. I usually (always) disappoint myself and scrap it. :-/
So.. yeah, I hope someone enjoys this! I know I do..
Hell, it's got everything! Deathgods, furry lore, juxtaposition, and boobies! Come on!
Want shading and colour? Tough shit. xD Sure, I want to impress, but I don't want to be generic. It's near impossible to be original these days(especially for someone with limited creativity) but it's almost harder to avoid clichés! Everything is stereotyped! Grah! makes me want to bite people.
Yes, the head was modeled after Anubis's. I drew the body first and felt she needed a mask. I usually draw heads last, anyway. :shrug:
I love most things Egyptian, what can I say? The stave, however, has a Tibetan yoga symbol on it. Figure -that- one out! ;3
I discovered that symbol in a book about 2-3 years ago. I haven't been able to find an explanation online, but the book had a in depth definition of it. The fact that I made it black here is -quite- disturbing as it's 'supposed' to be coloured white.

I thought adding colour would just make it look kind of tacky. >.<;
The book said that it's pronounces "hum" but spelled "ham" but usually mispronounced "om" but it's different from the more 'mainstream' yoga 'om'.
