Yeah, a bit of a different direction with the colors here.
I'm still gonna keep the "fantasy" version of Mango (the Son-Son-style "cafuuchin" one) but she'll be more like an alternate universe character than an actual representation.
It's mainly cause I'm too lazy to draw all those swirls all the time, but it's also cause I just wasn't all that motivated to draw her as much in that particular incarnation. She was less a personal avatar & more a separate independent character, hence the need for this separate "fursona" reference.
So yeah, there ya go. Even though I still love the "cafuuchin" Mango (and fully intend on keeping her, albeit as a separate character) the more casual, fluffy "munky" version is the one I identify with/draw the most.
Sorry if that kinda confuses you guys at all. How about if I just say there's two Mangos now instead? XD

Nah, no need to edit anything! XDD This is just me being fickle with colors & fur style & such. :P
I think with the "cafuuchin" Mango I just wanted something different to make her more interesting. That's how the specific species (capuchin monkey + foo dog) and background (ninja/pirate/whatthefuckever) came about. But I guess in making that stuff more specific she kind of lost her ability to be in mundane, everyday situations (at least to me anyway). I dunno, I'm weird like that. :B
The fluffy/shaggy, casual "munky" version of Mango seems to be the one I identify with the best. Plus it's definitely easier for me & everyone else to draw. :PP
