Yeah, so me and the bf have been playing Bioshock, and we got to talking, and somehow the idea of a big daddy with a dentist drill came up. :)

The big daddy IS probably one of the top 10 enemies in any game. Ever.
you can use the pistol with anti armor too..
but the easiest.. is to lure them near a security camera.. splatter them with the special chemical that will make them get "spotted" by the camera, and let the security bots damage him.. :P
or if you see 2 daddies, use enrage in one of them ;)
I make a row of 3 proximity mines and right after it a trapbolt. Then I just agro him by setting him on fire and after he runs through my little gauntlet a shotgun blast to the face finishes him off. If it's an elite then incendiary shotgun blast/s.
As for a scary dentist's drill, I fear their dental picks more. I never had teeth drilled, but if they errantly poke my gums with the pick, it is not so much fun...
