Some day, I love to adopt a Huskey or a Wolf hybrid. They seem so very noble and very loyal.

I love this guy, believe me, but he's not an easy animal to take care of. He's not leash trained, I can't bring him to a veterinarian, and he can't come in the house or he'd destroy it. I also spent $3000 for a large escape proof pen. Huskies are quite a bit easier to take care of (although they are energetic and like to get into trouble!)

Gotcha. Your Wolf, looks so very beautiful tho and he's looks so very cute.

He is beautiful and his winter fur is very soft and thick. He's not a real snuggly animal, but once in a while he'll let you do it especially now that he's older.

And I'm lucky to have him. I'm hoping he'll hang around for a while longer, but anything at this point I consider to be bonus time.

Wow, 15 really is a ripe old age for a canid of his size. I'll echo what's been said before: you must've taken very good care of him, not just physically but also in terms of his other needs. I'm glad he's got you. :)

Well, based on one a day, 365 a year, X 13 years =4750. Occasionally I'd run out, and occasionally he'd get two, but yes, about 4700, give or take a few hundred.

Although I've never tried them, so I can't say with absolute certainty I wouldn't like them.

Heh..I was kidding too...unless you like bacterial contamination from raw meat, I'd leave the real ones to the feral wolves and wolf-dogs ;)

Ahh he does look like a venerable woof, but still alert.

Well, he was pretty sick in October, got over that, has been good ever since, but now he's definitely getting frail and has lost a lot of muscle tone. But, he's still eating, he can still walk, and he seems to be enjoying himself.

The marrow bone count is an estimate, but he's gotten one every night since I've had him except for the rare occasion where I'd run out, but that's probably about right. :)

Sounds like my kitty, she still seems quite happy, but she does have a heart valve issue when she gets stressed and she's 20 if not over, we got her from the RSPCA refuge and she was about 1-2 years old then.

Wow...20 is pretty good for a kitty!
