That's one of the problems with tucking itty bitty figures into a composition right at the end. Not always a smart thing to do. *Ahem* He said to hisself....

I love the use of color and shading here. It's almost as if you're looking at it through a piece of medieval glass. Very moody, and *love* the blue flame. Very magical. Almost looks like it was regular flame until it touched the lips of the statue..you can almost see a look of surprise overtaking the curious fellows look of curiousity.

Thank you sir! Rendering was once a big deal for me. Narrative's become way more important to master. It's a lot easier to think about storytelling when you work thickly. At least for me. I'm less inclined to get lost in unimportant details.
