*Notice: The playoff table has been set. In the West, (1)Colorado Springs will face (4) Saskatoon, and (2)Portland will face (3) Las Vegas
Las Vegas 3 - 2 Green Bay
Howling (W) - 34 Saves
Sunderson (L) - 27 Saves
Las Vegas starting lineup: Good, Neighbors, Streip, Danneskjold, Slovaki
Green Bay starting lineup: Underhill, Howl, Karlson, Audubon, Jakopin
First Period
GREEN BAY GOAL: Karlson (15) - Howl (16)
GREEN BAY INJURY: Jakopin (tail) out for game. Replaced by Bjorn Sandell
Second Period
GREEN BAY GOAL: Howl (8) - Sandell (7), Underhill (15)
GREEN BAY INJURY: Karlson (foot) out for game. Replaced by Marty Walnut
LAS VEGAS GOAL: Neighbors (10) - Good (24)
Third Period
LAS VEGAS GOAL: Neighbors (11) - Danneskjold (17)
LAS VEGAS GOAL: Slovaki (16) - Unassisted
-Well it came with some Green Bay injuries, but Las Vegas managed a comeback on the road. That's gotta give their fans some confidence going into their first playoff series.
-The fans yes but more importantly the team. Portland is a tough opponent so if Vegas isn't where they need to be mentally, they can forget about it.
Lexington 3 - 0 Saskatoon
Yoshi (W) - 42 Saves
Alekseev (L) - 38 Saves
Lexington starting lineup: Silvarin, Blizzard, St. Francois, Larsson, S. Kozlov
Saskatoon starting lineup: Baric, Tushenko, Dgeordgevich, Oberheiszer, Sherapovich
First Period
LEXINGTON GOAL: Blizzard (18) - St. Francois (18), S. Kozlov (15)
Second Period
LEXINGTON GOAL: Blizzard (19) - Larsson (26), S. Kozlov (16)
Third Period
LEXINGTON INJURY: Blizzard (head) out for game. Replaced by Aneta Kozlov
LEXINGTON GOAL: St. Francois (23) - Silvarin (22)
-Saskatoon came into this game and threw everything at Lexington, fighting for their playoff lives, and Raz Yoshi had an absolutely career game, maybe the best single player performance all season long.
-No doubt, and as frustrated as he must have been making Saskatoon, they're still getting into the playoffs, so if they can focus whatever anger they have left at Colorado Springs, expect a good series.
Hamilton 4 - 1 Victoria
Collie (W) - 29 Saves
Aurelius (L) - 41 Saves
Hamilton starting lineup: Rentanen, St. Claire, Parlett, Demidov, Jones
Victoria starting lineup: Rain, Bedtime, Paskhowl, Weaver, Thicke
First Period
No Scoring
Second Period
HAMILTON GOAL: Rentanen (17) - unassisted
HAMILTON GOAL: Jones (12) - unassisted
Third Period
HAMILTON GOAL: Parlett (14) - St. Claire (18)
VICTORIA GOAL: Weaver (5) - Paskhowl (20), Thicke (5)
HAMILTON GOAL: Jones (14) - Unassisted
-Well, Victoria did everything right in this game. They took away all the passing lanes, stopped Hamilton from making those pretty passing plays they're known for, but in this particular matchup David fell a little short of Goliath.
-The one downside of playing them defensively like that is that Hamilton's gonna just skate in and shoot, and when they've got guys like Thunder Jones who can bomb a slapshot from just inside the blue line and have it behind the goalie in a split second, its a tough task for your goaltender. Much better luck hopefully next season for the Totem Paws.
Jacksonville 5 - 4 Portland
Jones-Payne (W) - 36 Saves
Pehltonen (L) - 36 Saves
Jacksonville starting lineup: Stapler, Johnson, Manumala, Ansikorpi, Browning
Portland starting lineup: Sandstrom, Kieffer, Backdraft, Wingdog, Shepherd
First Period
JACKSONVILLE INJURY: Johnson (leg) out for game. Replaced by Johan Bjorkman
JACKSONVILLE GOAL: Manumala (17) - unassisted
PORTLAND GOAL: Sandstrom (3) - Wingdog (19)
JACKSONVILLE GOAL: Ansikorpi (13) - Bjorkman (3)
Second Period
JACKSONVILLE GOAL: Ansikorpi (14) - Bjorkman (4), Manumala (12)
PORTLAND GOAL: Sandstrom (4) - Shepherd (24)
JACKSONVILLE GOAL: Browning (6) - Ansikorpi (15)
PORTLAND GOAL: Kieffer (19) - Shepherd (25), Wingdog (20)
Third Period
JACKSONVILLE GOAL: Manumala (18) - Stapler (15)
PORTLAND GOAL: Backdraft (14) - unassisted
[i]-Now granted this was a meaningless game, but Portland fans have to be a little shaky seeing their team play this sloppy in the last game of the regular season.
-Yeah it seemed like the only one breaking a sweat out there was Tatch Sandstrom, the bench player! Hopefully they'll be a little more focused when they host Las Vegas.

Third Period

BRIDGEPORT FIGHTING MAJOR: Chris Delucci, replaced by Bjorn Grafeldr
COLORADO SPRINGS GOAL: Kennick (12) - Vanderhoosen (28)
-Colorado Springs are notorious for grabbing the momentum and running with it. If you let them, they've got the power to control the pace and put you out of the game in a single period.
-Both these teams are in the post-season already, still, an exciting game to end the season!

I felt really good in practice and the warm-up skate and it just carried over. I was seeing everything out there! This is a really good way to bring momentum into the playoffs, great job out there guys.
On a side note I should have two growth points, I'm only marked for the one from the shutout at the moment =3

Man, even with the help we needed of having Saskatoon lose, we just couldn't muster enough offense tonight. I feel bad for Fin having faced so many shots, it's like he was left on an island half the game. But he still played well against a tough opponent, and we had a good season I think. It's a shame we couldn't get in this year, but the Totem Paws will be back with renewed spirit next season, that's for sure. Good luck to those playoff teams, too.
