I wasnt really happy with that Murphy Law like ending so I decided to change it.

Apperantly the bullet did go through Ferd's heart and he did died, but it was a clinical death and after much effort he was revived.
During a month he was in a coma and his heart failed a few times.

Eventually he woke up to the reality of him being alive...
