Hi Kal,
I agree that it is fitting to at least grab a photo of crossing the ocean/Africa continent line. I kind of wish I had my camera when I crossed off the North America continent line into the Pacific, headed to Hawaii. Then again, it was the "half way" point.
Yesterday, I ran into my readings a place called "Drakensberg", talking/showing the large cliffs and plateaus in that region. I wonder if that may be an interesting place for sites.
I hope you are still enjoying your visit. Kudos to the lion cubs photos.
