Canis Lupis Familiaris? I actualy haven't heard of that but probley dew to the dogs purity it might be cause it sounds about right. From what the owner told me long ago. Its sorta what happens when you domesacate a commen wolf. Sorta like a dingo.

Canis lupus is the scientific name for the grey wolf and Canis lupus familiaris is the scientific name for all domestic dogs, including German shepherds, since they're all basically domesticated wolves. (Domestic dogs used to be Canis familiaris, but it was changed to Canis lupus familiaris several years back.)
