the mark around his eye has purpose, it is a blood mark painted on when a young coatl wolf catches his first kill , the shape and style of the mark will determine his/her role in the pack and it is applied by the pack's wisest wolf using the blood of the youngsters kill, after that each coatl wiolf is expected to renew his mark so it never wears away)
