I've had this old knife kicking around the garage for years, my father found it the trunk of a car while he worked at a scrapyard and used it for cutting hoses. At some point in its life the original handle had been replaced with two pieces of pine wood and two bent iron nails, it had been bugging me for years so today I decided to do something with it. I got the "handle" off and found that it was much rougher than I had thought, I filed it down a bit and tried to clean it up to some extent then sharpened it. You may or may not be able to tell but I used: cardboard, tissue paper, screws, and as you CAN see Hockey Tape. It has a nice tight fit with a little cushioning from the materials used and after I half haphazardly polished it I could read that it was made in Brazil, something for my collection/tool box at least.
