Something about these two just enraged me as a kid.

Probably the voices.

I never grew up with the movie, only saw it once, really. The voices... eh. I really love their character designs though, especially Jaques and the female mice.

Yeah. Good design. But they upped the pitch of their voices SO much, it was almost physically PAINFUL to listen to.
