In regards to the collaboration between you two, which I think is called a 'story arc', it has already been established why Celestia tolerates DawnChaser's megalomania but, considering exactly what his and deasly's special talents (cutie mark-related or otherwise) tend to involve, sometimes it's like DawnChaser has an ulterior motive.
