During my speedlight experimentation, I actually managed to catch Trixie looking at me for a change! I think the AF-assist lamp fascinates her. Bonus for the bounced light not turning her eyes devil-eye red!

I honestly have absolutely no idea. I've got a couple other photos of her in here as well, I've had people think she was a Burmese, a ragdoll, a lynx-point Siamese mix, and a few other things. She's AMAZINGLY soft and fluffy, though, with a big feather-duster tail. She flops like a ragdoll, too.
She's a shelter-rescue kitty, so we have NO idea what her line might be. :)

Well, I haven't had a chance to see if she can swim or not, she's an indoor kittie. :) She has long, soft fur, so trying to get the tangles and stickers from being outdoors out of her coat would be a challenge. Plus, the roads around here are very dangerous for cats.
She's extremely friendly, and loves to be close to people. Not necessarily always being petted or right in your face, but she always wants to be in the same room with you.

I know exactly what you mean, when I was down at the university I really missed our kitties as well. I made up for it by adopting another one down there, and bringing her back to be my aunt's cat. :) She's happy as a clam now, my aunt spoils her outrageously and it suits her just fine. xD Her name is Molly. :)
