Few facts about Khalinda.
Her race is one of the larger and powerful scalies, because of there naturally tough scales they have no need for clothes or armor.
Most of her race is toned and buff, but Khalinda has had a big appetite which explains how she has gotten a belly large enough to censor herself.
Her favorite weapons to use are clubs, since it does not take years of practice to master like those shiny blades.

The good thing about clubs though is that it takes little time to make them by just grabbing a rock, tree or even limb of a dragon. So while a good metal weapon may take weeks to forge perfectly their is little to know worry if one of her clubs gets lost or destroyed.
Her hide has three scale thickness as better shown in the color picture, the bumpy dark green scales are thick enough and smooth enough to not worry about small projectiles since they either would not penetrate deep enough or just deflect. But that leaves her softer scales of the belly and chest region, so from the front her vitals are vulnerable to well crafted slashing or piercing weapons.
To make matters worse she is against putting on armor for protection or clothes for decency, well at least Khalinda's mate has gotten her to take a shower every now and then.

Indeed, one would need some pretty serious stopping power even for just those belly scales. Though of course, one has to fight unfair even then, tipping arrows and bolts with dung to cause sepsis and such. Not about honor, it is about winning.
In any case... A journey to the Orient to pick up a Hwacha may be necessary step, just in case.

It is true that most opponents will not fight for honor and would be glad to use anything that will help them win. Although since she is from a race of hardy barbarians.. and the fact that most of her life things like bathing only happened when she was swimming across a river. Because of that Khalinda has a resistance to some of the diseases and other illnesses that the fleshy races are weak against.
The Hwacha is impressive but because of Khalinda's size it would be difficult or even impossible to load the ammo without breaking it. Even though she can be stubborn Khalinda knows her limits and would probably ask a magic user to help out.
