The movie had little to do with the books outside of names, but it was enjoyable as a movie. If you want my full opinion you can contact me. It is long and does include nitpicking.
Anyway this is Tara whom I played for quite a while. I was fluent in the little bit of Barsoomian that there is.
She's a banth that has a red martian form. She has trouble with language and had yet to learn telepathy.
This is my take on a Banth from the description in the books and with help from a cover for Thuvia, Maid of Mars. (I've referred back to that cover since Tara's creation.)
She is also named in honor of John Carter's daughter just as Dejah is in honor of Dejah Thoris.
