Just past the parking lot is this sign warning visitors about hazards including my cousin Bob**!!!! Geez! So he has a short temper, doesn't mean he's dangerous!
I keep telling Bob to take his meds for crying out loud!
Anyway, maybe the warning is about other mountain lions.
** Bob, as in bobcat, is actually a mountain lion! Similar species.

Those signs are in every regional park. I have seen a wild mountain lion though. It was in the Almaden Hills right above someone's house. I was at Joseph D. Grant park 2 years ago and I heard a bobcat growl. I didn't see though. It was probably under a bush somewhere since it was at least 92deg that day. My ex-boyfriend and I saw the mountain lion warning sign, so I told him that the growl was from a mountain lion and he was terrified. He was such a wuss that I couldn't resist.
Yea, they always have had wildlife warnings. Never seen a bobcat or many other critters. Just a possum once. Plenty of jack rabbits though, some dear (yes, and of course I hit one, it looked ok in the rear view mirror since I drive relatively slow). Elk. Um, not sure what else.
I guess that means "cousin Bob" is a bit famous to be in warnings in all the parks?! LOL
LOL about the trick!
