So I'm taking Artistic Silkscreen courses this trimester. Our first project is going to design our own T-shirt.

So I went with something I always wanted - a Viledove shirt. As the stencil is going to be cut by hand and it can only have one color*, I went with something borderline-tribal for simplicity's sake.

The pic was first inked, then fixed in Illustrator, then given the gradient in Photoshop.

*I know that has more than one color. He said we could experiment with gradients, which is what I hope to do. This is, oif course, what I am aiming for, though I'll be lucky to even come close to anything that nice for the final look.
