VICTORIA GOAL: Paskhowl (10) - Weaver (14)
-Good performance here from Las Vegas to solidify their playoff position, they'd been slipping lately. Great fight from Victoria too.
-Yeah, Victoria's really gotten better since the beginning of the season, and for that they're still not out of it but they've got a tall, tall task next week in Hamilton that they need to win to get in the playoffs.
GAME OF THE NIGHT
Hamilton 1 - 0 Houston
Collie (W) - 30 Saves
Fisher (L) - 44 Saves

Third Period
No Scoring
-Nasty collision in the second period first and foremost, between Sanchez and St. Claire, hopefully those two will be okay. They were both seen walking out of the stadium after the game, good to see that nothing is broken at the very least.
-Yes that's most important, but secondly, poor Houston. What a run, and what a game to go out on! A lot of questions about whether Tiberius Fisher would be on this roster next season, doubt they'd let him go after the way he played tonight.

LEXINGTON GOAL: St. Francois (22) - Blizzard (17)
-Both teams here had a chance to make a statement, they already know they're in the playoffs. The injured Portland managed to impress a bit more.
-This Roses team is just full of silent killers, no one player really jumps off the roster with huge games, but they're got a good four players who consistently put up three points a night. Its a lot for any team to handle, even one as good as Lexington.

-Better believe Croco Chilton and the Bandicoots faithful are breathing a sigh of relief! Hallertau's first shutout of the season has just bought Bridgeport their ticket to the post-season!

GREEN BAY INJURY: Underhill (head), replaced for game by Marty Walnut
ERIE FIGHTING MAJOR: Drake Huskey, replaced by Spangler Spaniel
GREEN BAY FIGHTING MAJOR: Halfred Sunderson, replaced by Mark Bell
-Conway and Husky returned from their suspensions with a vengeance. This was the Tail Storm at their finest: absolutely dismantling Green Bay. Not even close.
-Well, the suspense is finally over for Green Bay, and frustrations really hit their breaking point. What a bench-clearing brawl in the final 5 minutes of play!

SASKATOON GOAL: Tushenko (7) - Baric (14), Swift (6)
SASKATOON GOAL: Oberheiszer (11) - Dgordgevich (20), Swift (7)
-A shootout in Colorado goes to the hometown favorite. And Saskatoon could have won it, too, if the Pioneers hadn't run circles around them for the first period.
-This was back-and-forth, no doubt about it, and Saskatoon really showed the desparation of a team clinging to a playoff spot. In the end, the balanced Colorado Springs attack proved just too much.

Atta boy, Saazy! That was a flawless game all around...on to the playoffs!
Was a great night to be a goalie in general...though I looked at the replays and you can't just try and take out a guy like that. Glad to see the league finally taking head shots seriously. *grumbles about a certain fox that plays for Lexington under his breath*

First off want to thank Sparks and Colorado Springs for winning their game to help keep us alive. Second of all will apologize to my teammates for letting us down tonight in an important game, I'll hope this doesn't cost us that final playoff spot or I'll really feel guilty in the off-season. x-x I know I played well, but still can't help but feel I could've did better to help the offense out. Just hope we can pull off the win against Hamilton.
*roars with elation and relief* FINALLY! It's about fucking time we put together a solid 60 minutes and won a game! We all worked hard and had a strong game, and Bigs and Drakey came up big on both ends of the ice.
And I'm LOVING how Drakey is scrapping with us in the crease! XD
