Auron is a lucario unlike most others, growing up with a higher intellect than most pokemon around him. He always had a strong curiosity about humanity and humans, frequently observing from a hidden spot, or convincing children to bring him into school and act like he was their pokemon. Over the years he learned how to speak a very heavy accented, growly english, of which he is still perfecting. His aura power is fairly trained and enhanced, from bloodline and intense training to be able to communicate and he can use it to talk to pokemon and humans alike.

Kenshin the Oshawott has been with him since he was a Riolu, rescued and tended to by Auron after an abusive young trainer left him in the wild, claiming Kenshin was weak and worthless. Ever since then Kenshin has sworn to become the strongest swords otter in the region and show the kid up, with Auron's help. Mamba was recruited early into the journey, and serves to keep the temperamental oshawott in check.

Currently Auron has disguised himself as a mostly transformed human, as the region he lives in has a strange effect on some humans, turning them into pokemon. He has used this guise to trick the league into giving him a trainer's license and has set out with a group of other trainers in an attempt at close observation and learning. What drives humanity? How do they grow and learn so quickly? He hopes to find answers to those and many other questions.
