EDIT: I wanted to add another comment after all this time to just express how well I find this artwork expresses the friendly nature of my mascot while still giving him that ghostly and mildly spooky feel. The design reminds me of some Japanese Ghosts and Spirits which like to depict them in a more colorful way.

The expression and pose also has something dreamy and fantastic about it like if he's accompanied by a few other Spirits that he's looking after. He seems to be well even while in that appearance. Well, it's fun to think that Shiny can be a Ghost Type Pokémon for a brief while and spend a fun time with them.
