Something I've had in mind for a while.

Amaya has felt that she is fit for the title of Elder for some time now, and has finally issued a challenge to Hibana for that right.
It's not necessarily that she dislikes Hibana, rather she's concerned that she takes her role too casually. And the fact that Hibana has admitted a few times that she did not want the responsibility, calling it 'a burden no one should have to put up with' has really annoyed her for years.
However Hibana understands that she was given the responsibility by her grandfather, followed by a long tradition of Elders before her. For their sake, she has not simply handed the role to anyone she herself has considered more fitting.
Amaya states her reasons for the challenge, touting that it would take more than the claim of one's bloodline to silence her.
Hibanas carefree demeanor changes as Amaya emits a large area of snow inside the clans hall as she walks off...
but not before she hears the sound of booming thunder in the distance.

Will Amaya outmatch the current Elder?
Or will the pride and strength of Hibana prove to be too much for the tactician?

Hopefully to be continued (in a string of more action-esque drawings for the sake of working on dynamic scenes/angles some more ;) )
