Tabbe le Fauve and Jonathan are two of the lead characters from my comic Xanadu. They are based --very loosely-- on the Brementown Musicians. Tabbe (the cat) is a thief who comes to the aid of the Empress Alicia and Jonathan (the mule) is his dour sidekick
