I've not done a family pic in the longest of times and so here are all my cousins together





As with all my little family pics theres a rubbish little story that goes along with this....

Uno sighed. Being the eldest of all the cousins at the family barbeque, (although Saffy had argued that technically she was 25 but no one really paid her any attention) Uno had been told he was in charge of all the kids. He really didnt want the responsibility, in fact all he wanted to do was find some quiet corner of the garden to read. But that looked unlikely.

"I'll look after everyone" Ari said helpfully noticing that Uno didnt seem happy about his duty. Ari loved playing with babies and being helpful.

"Really? Thanks Ari" Uno said feeling a little guilty at shirking his responsibilities but equally knowing that Ari would do a much better job even though she was a couple of years younger than him. So off he went to read.

Twenty minutes later he could hear an ear splitting squeal coming from the other side of the garden. The squal was unmistakably Gem and she sounded agitated. He closed his book and jogged over to where Welsh was Giggling, Saffy seemed to be pretending not to be interested whereas in fact she was observing and listening to the whole thing and Ari seemed to be trying to coax Gem towards a garden hose.
"Whats goin' on? Uno looked perplexed as Gem tried to squirm out of Ari's grasp.

Seeing uno Gem garbled behind her pacifier.
"ISSA SNAKE ISSA SNAKE, AWI Is Gonna feed me to the SNAAAAKE"

Ari shook her head.
"No look silly Gemmy I told you lots already. Its a hose for the garden. its not a snake"

"SNAAAAAKE" Gem kicked out her legs trying to push herself away from the hose but Ari was bigger and Gem couldnt push the older girl away.

Welsh continued to giggle. "Gemmy's bein silly"

Uno sighed. "Ari I think yoor scaring her"

Ari shook her head "Gem is gonna be scared of every single thing in her whole life if she doesnt start getting braver. Shes scared of a garden hose, thats just silly. Im trying to help her to show her its nothing to be frightened of."

"ITS GONNA EATED ME UP!!!!" Gem cut in, freaking out the closer she was gently pushed towards the inanimate object.

Suddenly Saffy had an idea and rushed round to the other side of the house where the Hose was attached to an outlet tap. If she turned the tap on and water came out of the hose then Gem would know for certain it wasnt a snake. With Saffys plan firmly in her head Saffy used both her paws and turned the big tap. A second later there were multiple squeals and shrieks as Saffy rounded the corner again to find all 4 cubs completely soaked through. The hose was dancing around the garden spraying water everywhere. Uno looked at his waterlogged book and grimaced, Welshie and Ari too looked pretty grumpy at suddenly finding themselves drenched, Gem however had a broad grin on her face, looking pretty relieved even though she was just as wet as everyone else.
"Heeeey its notta snake!"
Suddenly all the cubs were giggling and rolling around in the waterlogged garden.
