Oh I have been. :P I completed my Furoticon picture (can't be released yet) and am working on a deviously complex commission for  nimzach. And a less devious cute commission. ;)

Very nice and yes, the ears are great though wolves actually have more rounded ear tips than GSD's, huskies, and the like. Common misconception. Fav'ed still ;3

Yeah. Pet peeve of mine. So many artists just don't round them off right, then there's arctic wolves which have even more rounded ears (like all arctic critters I can think of off hand with the exception of birds, fish, and the like). It would be really cool if you could mix the two IRL (wolf/fox) though that would mean keeping them captive and away from the wild if it was even possible in the first place and I'm definitely against that. Though his ears are more pointed than that of a fox even. Dare I guess lynx? W/e his mix, he's really-really handsome X3

He does have the large, tufted ears which remind me of a lynx or caracal! I don't think he has a specific mix though, just more a "looks cool!" mixed canine. I could be wrong right enough, I am quite sure his creator mentioned something about it to me back when I did a commission for him years ago. But then, that's the fun of furry characters. You can just incorporate all your favourite aspects or change the reality since they are all fantasy creatures. :)

Yeah. Sometimes the "looks cool" approach works though I'm a stiffler for natural colors and anatomy at least as best as if can get for anthropomorphic characters. Though occasionally I'll say, "Now that is one gorgeous pink husky!" X3
This image has just perked my curiosity and the commissioner's profile only lists wolf as the species. I suppose I'll lay my curiosity to rest and just settle with how hot he is instead. XD
